Terms and conditions
Who you are contracting with
ESleeswijk Consultancy B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK 42034470, trading as The Cohort. Contact: hello@thecohort.academy.
Enrolment
A seat is confirmed when the first payment clears, or when your organisation confirms the invoice in writing. Enrolment for the cohort starting 12 October 2026 closes on 2 October 2026. Seats are allocated in the order people confirm.
Price and payment — individuals
The individual payment plan is 6 × $347 per month. The first instalment is collected before the cohort starts. There is no surcharge for paying in instalments. The final instalment is collected before the assessment.
Price and payment — organisations
Organisation seats are $1,750 excl. VAT per seat, invoiced on 30-day terms, with a purchase order number on request. Invoicing is handled manually; ask for the one-page proposal if finance needs a document to approve.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you have 14 days from confirmation to withdraw without giving a reason. If the cohort starts within those 14 days and you asked us to begin delivery in that period, you owe a proportionate amount for the part already delivered, and the right ends once the programme has been fully delivered. You are asked to confirm this explicitly at checkout.
Cancellation and transfers
If a participant drops out before week two, we move the seat to the next cohort at no extra cost. After week two the fee is due in full. If we cancel a cohort, you get a full refund or a seat in the next one, your choice.
Assessment and certificate
The assessment is a piece of your own work, assessed against the four levels of the Baseline Method. Passing earns a certificate issued by The Cohort. It is not an accredited qualification and carries no ECTS credits, and we do not claim otherwise.
Labs
Labs are $245 each, three for $645, or $195 excl. VAT per seat for organisations. Individual lab seats are paid by card at the moment of booking; tax is calculated at checkout based on your location, and a receipt and invoice are emailed automatically once the payment clears. A lab seat can be transferred to another date up to 48 hours before it runs. If we cancel a lab, you get a full refund or a seat on another date, your choice.
Materials
Course material is for your own use. Reselling, republishing or running it as your own training is not permitted without a licence agreement.
Liability and law
Our liability is limited to the fee paid. Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
